Yeah Alex, you did a great job on it!  Maybe nobody remembers the days when we use to have in our dj bag almost 10 of these very useful, helpful, funny, ass-savers vinyls with overlooped tracks called real dj-tools, just beats and grooves those sounds amazing on each soundsystem and keep the groove of your dj-set goin on and on and on… maybe we don’t have to put out just stuff like this all the time,  but these days it’s so hard to find tracks made in this way with that funky feeling, so complete and coooool, you know what i’m talkin’ about you real House Music Lover?… Do you remember Kenny Dope? Do you “House Brakes”? It was a neverending story, somebody forgot it, but the Bosconi crew knows what is the good shit always in between house and techno… After the amazing release on Cadenza and Mixworks, Alex Picone Hit us again with this strong 3 tracker 12”.

Motherland Ep starts with very dry 909 groove of “Mina”, an overstanding loop synthesis of a very intense and sensual wrapping bassline plus the add of a funky guitar riff on it.. B side has been taken by the more aggressive track of the ep: “Nana” is romantic but powerfull, lush and groovy, a jackin’ track  that seems like a rendez vous of the detroit and chicago sounds on a mexican beach…  Then “Tascha” it’s like the percussive sister of Mina, still hypnotic but more summery thanks to the add of latin elements like that warm trumpet that comes in the middle of the thing. keep your ears up!
