Bosconi @ Lumen, on September 12, 2025 from 6:00 PM, brings to Lumen a showcase that celebrates the consistency and vision of the Florence-based label Bosconi Records. Founded by Fabio Della Torre in 2008, the label has become a true driving force in the Italian electronic scene, built on a solid, carefully curated, and entirely physical discographic output: over 100 releases, the vast majority of which have come out on vinyl. Record by record, artist by artist, Bosconi has crossed genres and generations while remaining faithful to quality, identity, and its deep bond with the dancefloor.
The event will feature DJ/producers such as Alexander Robotnick, a true pioneer of Italian Italo Disco, who still continues to shape the present with the same visionary energy of his early years, blending irony with sonic experimentation; Lapucci (Mattia Lapucci), a Florence-based DJ and producer with extensive experience as a mastering engineer and dubplates cutter, will present his upcoming Bosconi release Level of Control in preview, offering a blend of hypnotic grooves and dark wave/new beat textures; Queen Of Coins, with one of the label’s freshest releases, will debut her live set, taking the audience on a sonic journey through Electro, Italo-Disco, and Detroit Techno — a refreshing electronic shower of sound.
Miguel Herrnandez will showcase his eclectic and personal style — a “twitchy Detroitian” approach that fuses mutant house and synthetic visions — with releases on Upstairs Asylum (Detroit) and Rawax, aligning perfectly with Bosconi’s sonic direction; Giuseppe Angeloro, a rising star with releases on Cimedirapax and Polarity Records, will team up in a unique and stimulating B2B with Fabio Della Torre, for a generational dialogue between experience, vision, and evolving languages.
The live stage will also host Planet Opal, an Italian duo formed by Giorgio Assi and Leonardo De Franceschi, known for their dynamic live sets and hybrid style. Blending post-punk and post-disco with experimental electronics, they draw influence from krautrock, shoegaze, and ’80s synth music, as heard in their album Recreate Patterns, Release Energy — a true sound-system experience.
Two local talents, Damia and Dickie, will open the outdoor stage. Both are refined selectors and well-established DJs, deeply rooted in the local scene and capable of channeling its energy through a mature, vinyl-driven sound shaped by tireless musical research.
A kids area will also be available for families during the event — a safe, creative and welcoming space that allows parents to dance with their children or leave them in good hands while enjoying the event.
Bosconi @ Lumen is more than just a party: it’s the living expression of an independent project that, for over fifteen years, has been producing, publishing and playing authentic electronic music — with consistency, dedication, and integrity.
