Mattia Lapucci — also known simply as Lapucci — is a Florence-based DJ and producer whose sound can be described as “retro made in the future.” Drawing from his diverse background as an urban street dancer and saxophone player, his music blends atmospheric melodies with deep and acid basslines, layered over break and straight rhythm patterns. His DJ sets traverse deep house, minimal, techno, and electro, all delivered through immersive live hardware performances.
Founder of the label Burbi, Mattia also runs Burbi Dub Studio, where he brings his extensive expertise as a mastering engineer and dubplate cutter. He is set to preview his upcoming Bosconi release, Level of Control, showcasing hypnotic grooves intertwined with dark wave and new beat textures.
